Aquatic Science Lab @ River Fest

Aquatic Science Lab is back for the 8th Annual River Fest!

Students and interested community members will identify specimens and conduct chemical and biological tests which will be used to create a water study for the Chemung River.  New this year, will be a turtle display!  Turtles will be tagged and reported to NYSDEC then returned to their point of capture.  With their teacher's permission, a student may receive lab credit (including Regents students) for their participation.  The program is open to all ages.  Younger students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  All participants must sign and agree to follow directions provided by NYSDEC License #51.  Check out the WBNG Action News story at http://www.wbng.com/younews/153153595.html.
