NWNA is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded $333,910 from the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council and NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.  The purpose of the grant is to secure, stabilize and restore to the maximum extent feasible, the exterior envelope of 359 West Church Street - the Richardson-Kennedy House, formerly known as The Ritz.

Our partnership with Historic Elmira, Inc. has kept this building from demolition and has highlighted the importance of saving and rehabilitating this building.
